    I followed Funky's post on the Bakelites and found these. Unissued condition Russian steel mags, very nice.

    Would guess it was put in at port to allow it to be sold to states that don't follow the constitution. OR they were installed with the expectations that obama-messiah would get his magazine ban passed and the Russians were ready for him.

    I'm thinking it might of been a magazine destined to Trainees to limit mag capacity while on the range learning how to use the weapon. Just a guess on my part.

    Thats what I was thinking. A mag block of this type wouldn't pass commie-state muster anyway.
