    Question Installing FH on CETME

I've got an early CAI CETME and was thinking about swapping the muzzlebrake for a flash hider. What would it take to accomplish this? TIA

If I remember correctly, they were just blind pinned on.

Just grind away a little bit on the MB and the pin will reveal itself.....the problem is, I cannot remember if it is in the 12 o'clock position, or the 6 o'clock....

    ELC would remember

Thank you. Think I'll round up a FH and give it a try.

Normally at 6 o'clock about 1/4" from the rear of the MB...

    Grind to locate.
Grind around it to get pliers on it.
    Pull out pin.
    Unscrew MB.
    Install FH...

CAI welded a few MB's so check first...

If you don't need parts count I have a couple dozen original FH's...

Spell it how the hell do you pro-noun-ce-it. I think that means Little bull with big balls in Spanish.

It means "hot", Laton is brass so "Mr. Hot Brass"...

It was a CETME thing... some of my brass went down a guy's shirt at the range in Boulder, NV.... The first CAI CETME I bought would throw brass to 50 feet or so... We would joke that that was how the Spanish protected their right flank.
