    SAR B6P

A buddy picked up one of these and I got to shoot it over the weekend. I was very skeptical at first. The gun is produced in Turkey and imported by EAA. Its a CZ75 knock off. They are less than $300. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. Not a bad shooter at all. Very good hand feel, low recoil, accurate.

I got 2 in the past couple of weeks the b6p and k2p, very good guns and very accurate. I definitely prefer the b6p since it's very close to the original cz-75.

Nice. What was your main factor in the decision to purchase these? Was it purely cost? I was expecting a sloppy piece of crap, but it was tight and as you say the accuracy was damn good. Trigger was not great, but not the worst.

Yeah but ... made in Turkey, an Islamic country currently sliding in the direction of fundamentalism.

I'm personally biased against Turkey because of a personal experience, however when looking at their country and their weapons manufacturing from a more objective perspective, the people of their country are very westernized and have conservative values especially in regards to military service, and their guns are actually really nicely made for the low price they sell for.

Lots of American companies are importing Turkish shotguns now, and their steel framed line of CZ clones is known to be an almost exact copy of a CZ-75.

Good point. I was a Ford buyer exclusively for many many years. Our last 2 cars have been Hondas. My desire for the best product that suited me for the best price available in our market won out over my long held belief that buying domestic had any impact whatsoever on anything. Incidentally, I feel the same way about cigars. Hell, I even own a number of commie guns.

Motorcycles is where I draw the line.

I try as much as possible to limit Chinese crap. So much so that we have been trying to find new dishes to eat on and have not purchased any simply because we can not find any not made in China. The old ones are Noritake and made in Japan about 1980. On Russian ammo, not much since I don't own any 7.62x39 AK ammo and besides they, (Russia) aren't trying to do a Jihad on us.

No shit. All they did was put a few college professors in place and all of a sudden we're more socialist that Russia or China. They're in it for the long haul.
