    NOw for something uplifting.

    Bought this for my birthday.
CMP "select" grade 1955 Springfield .
Got 80 enbloc clips for it too, so I can burn up my near limitless supply of 30-06 .

Got it locally, saw it and started gauging all the crit parts then I was sold.

Still miss My Lithgow M1 I sold years ago .

Might get it out tomorrow. It has an adjustable gas plug so I can use my cast .30 cal gas check bullets in it with ease.

I got a 1903A4 Sniper repro too.. but I gotta bail it out next week.

Nothing quite like the M1 with the "PING" at the end. Congrats on picking it up.

    Very nice!

I love a Garand, but its the "near limitless supply of .30-06" that really gets my attention. I'm guessing there is a 1919 of some sort in the house.

NOPE... just have lots of brass/bullets/powder/primers.

The 1919 guy bailed on me.

Nice rifle, the adjustable gas plug is a big plus, what did it gauge for throat and muzzle?
