I usually refer to it as putting legos together.
While I understand it doesn't require any skill compared to actually building just about any other firearm from a kit, it is nice that you can slap one together and it will work.

Another funny one I saw was (forgive me I don't recall the exact details) something about not being able to open a refrigerator on Sabbath because the spark generated by the door light switch would be considered "fire" and it's illegal to make fire on Sabbath. (something like that).
What if the fridge uses a solid state switch (like an optical switch or a hall effect sensor)? No spark made - is that OK?
What about the incandescent lamp? The filament operates at over 4500 degrees F... hotter than a fire. Doesn't that count as "making fire"?
What about an LED lamp or CFL that generates virtually no heat?
This stuff would make a great comedy skit (except serious Jews probably wouldn't find it funny).
