It would come out nicer looking than if I used the big clunky external block.

Here's an SLR95 with a different stock, but still looks better than using the large block.

I'd like to use the MOE stock instead, but I think I'm on the right track now with your help.
The thought of cutting off my upper tang still scares the hell out of me though.
If I decide I don't like it...it's too late and there is no going back again.

The set-up still just doesn't look the same as the rifle above with the MOE stock on it though.
    I'm missing something someplace.
You will need the buffer tube and locking plate to go with the CTR/MOE etc.

I like the idea of an adjustable stock on the AK too - and here's what I did - the cheap crapco option:

    It works fine though.

I don't think the folder option would work as this has a side rail...

    Yeah I know.
This is adding up to a lot of money just for a stock installation.
I'm beginning to question my own motives here.

Mine has a side rail too.
That's why I initially didn't care about the folding part.
I'm mainly interested in the adjustable length of pull.
Did you have to remove the tangs from the gun to install that?

It is only money brother. You will have well over 100 bucks for a stock.I would not be willing to cut up and deface a milled AK.Just my opinion on the matter. If you have a stamped kit etc then well go for it.

That just uses the standard tang like a fixed stock though right?

The tapco T6 was the first stock I found that could handle the stress of my bumping stock, it's a decently built stock considering the price. It uses a standatd stamped tang without mods, I'm not sure they make them for the milled guns.
