Nice, very nice! I really miss my Swedish Mauser. Had to make a choice to cull the collection and they went to a Gunsnet regular. I hope he still has them.
Sweet! I love the swede mausers. I currently have only one original condition example - a 96/38. I also bought a 94 that'd been irreversibly (practially speaking) bubb'd and fixed it up so that it's a very nice sporter now.
I really like the caliber though - so much so that I bought a Winchester Classic Featherweight chambered for 6.5x55.

Your being to kind. I shot one of these at Bisley in the UK at the Trafalgar meet and was so impressed I didn't stop looking for two years till I found one close to the one I had shot in the McQueens match on the Little Siberia range in '01. Today I could not afford the sling.

They are amazing accurate rifles considering when they were produced. They rank up there with the Fin Mosins and K-Swiss rifles.

Nice rigs there.
I got my 1920 C.G. 96 in the early 90's from an old guy locally for 100 bucks. I didn't know at the time what a deal I got. I'll have to take it out for a spin again soon. Mine looks about like the second one in your first pic.
Two year rebirth of a thread showcasing some really nice Swedes!
