Federal agencies popping up all over the place, all who do not answer to congress as they should if we had a constitution.

Now the agencies are getting jealous that other agencies are arming themselves, so the unarmed now arm, and not with the same weapons that we the people are allowed by them, but would otherwise would be allowed if we had a constitution that wasn't infringed.

And what does the department of aggie need all the firepower? Are they afraid of the other agencies? Infighting would be cute.

To continue the rant, the second amendment to the constitution, per the writers, was added to make sure that we the people could never be out-armed by the government that was supposed to be of the people, by the people and for the people. Does all this buying of auto-firepower mean we the people are getting our rights back. I know better.

And another thought, with all the agencies arming up, does the government now believe that if they asked the military to turn against the people, the military would say no?

Maybe they're getting ready for Zombie Cows, pigs and sheep. Otherwise why would US Department of AGRICULTURE need full autos, hell why would they even need firearms?

In the event corn stalks and soy plants decide they have had enough of what we do to them and decide to attack! USDA needs to be able to defend themselves in the event the plant world uprise against vegetarians!

Well we have militarized the police to about the maximum extent possible unless we want to go all out and give them abrams tanks. Might as well arm every other public agency to the teeth.

IIRC wasn't the U.S. Postal Service one of the first purchasers of the Thompson submachinegun? If you think about it this really isn't anything new.

That's true so as long as they USDA has a legitimate need then it's ok? IMHO a lot of federal agencies have firearms and don't need them regardless of what type or how many they have. I'm just not going to loose any sleep over it.

Possibly Uncle Sugar & his minions of agencies are getting worried over the unprecedented purchasing of firearms & ammo in recent years by law-abiding American citizens, and are trying to up the ante. They'll have to go out and buy a hell of a lot more hardware to equal the 300 million or so (and growing) guns in private hands in this country.

The only catch is they get to play with new toys that we cannot unconstitutionally have.
