My Enfield and surplus in general

My Longranch was made in 45.Bolt & receiver don't match. No refurb marks. It's a CAI import. CAI started in the 60's. Questions: 1) Would my rifle be unused in a crate till CAI bought it 2) Could it have seen military use then bought & refurbed by CAI 3) would CAI have bought parts and put mis-matched rifles together. Just trying to understand how the surplus world works. Thanks for any education.

my guess would be 2 or 3. a lot of military rifles were torn down and thrown in a pile. then the parts were inspected and put back together.
