Only aluminum mags? What's up with that ... why wouldn't it take MagPuls?

I'd like to try one on just to see how it fits ... its one of those rifles that needs to be SBR'd.

I believe that Gen 2 Magpuls work but Gen 3 won't.

I am basing the mag statement off of what I've read on the net. The mag well is supposed to only accept mil spec metal M16 magazines. Supposed to be no magpuls or other synthetic magazines fit the mag well.
