The EC is a good one. I, however, can't have bourbon until after Passover........
And right when I need it most during tax season. Who says G-d doesn't have a sense of humor?

Had a Drew Estate (thanks Ten) on the patio yesterday while the Easter festivities were going on in the house. Drank a fair amount of Torrosella pinot grigiot, 'bout as wild as I get anymore w/ the booze.

I drank quite a bit of red wine over the winter. A lot of the food we were cooking kinda demanded it.

Haven't drank anything for a week or so. But I've burned 3 in nearly as many days where I usually only have one or two a week at most. I'll have to post a picture of the fur shed with the GI stove and jugs sitting above the doorframe.

Thursday: Bagged a decent trophy on an arrest warrant. Celebrated the event with a Flavours by CAO Moontrance.

Friday: At 4:00pm Sarah Brady stood in line with Hitler to receive her first of many pineapples and coconuts. Had a Romeo y Juliet 1875 Bully for that one. (It was either going to be that or a Partagas)

Easter Sunday: Well, it's Easter. Was going to have an Ave Maria Templar, but ended up being given a Gurkha Beauty for free instead.

I'm about halfway through a bottle of Templeton small batch rye. Its a spice bomb and if you can find it in your area I'd suggest you try it. Alternating between that and OGD 114. Another real winner.

Bourbon distribution can be an odd thing. You're not seeing it in one of the nations largest cities, yet here you can grab it in convenience stores, grocery stores and every liquor store around.

Have you located any Evan Williams BIB in Chicago?

Funny you should mention Evan Williams. Having one right now. Earlier than normal, but I only have a max of one mixed drink in a 24 hour period (self imposed, no real reason). Not a bad drink with a late lunch!

Also, great seeing you posting again El Jefe, I raise my glass to your return!

Haven't seen that one locally either. I do see the single barrel they release every year. Its always good.

One of the local grocery stores started selling beer (In amish country, you have no idea the fight that took place to make that happen). They were out of red stripe so here I am with
