    the cheap time machine ride.,,,,,

we dont get many pistols on here...

These were decent wheelguns for their day. Qualify as antique too.

    Hopkins & Allen in .38 S&W ..
Got this with what would be about $150 worth of ammo today for less than most imported beers.

Eject whips the brass out good . very very solid gun. timing is dead on too. gonna download most and just make paper punchers.

Owner has bad arthritis and just wanted it gone so I took his offer.

I offered more but , Don't argue with old folk.

Nice acquisition! The break tops are some cool technology.

I would love a break top revolver. That is a nice looking pistol. Cool box as well. Is it nickel or stainless?

I tried to push the envelope, but found that it was stationery.

chrome most likely, these guns came out long before stainless was used for firearms

yea, very early chrome. super thin too.

just shot 9 rounds of wax using cci small rifle ( small rifle a bit too much ,makes the primers back out with wax)
anyways, 10 feet away with it's Im guessing 18lb double action pull I could cover the group with my hand.

only thing the gun needs is recrowned.

shot 40 rounds of the various ammo that came with the gun today.

other than the 1895 nagant trigger, i was hitting 2x4's at 50 yards pretty easy. and these were whipping right through at that range.
recoil just like a .38 special wadcutter.

My only gripe is , The safety. "UP" is safe,,,, guess what your sweaty hand does when it's recoils , pushes it up.
