Passed as in law? Or a chance to get another debate? I have been watching this unfold over the last
5 years and the arguments against CoC are so weak most 6 years old could rip them apart. The funny
part is the 6 yro would only have to stand there and use the tried and try method of asking the most
important question, of Why? It is truly that simplistic.
But this is good news, now all the campi will have to rethink their misguided theories and arguments.
Hell it's Summer, that should give them something to do.

It's not signed by the Governor yet but it will be. The problem is that it's so watered down now as to be useless. It allows the universities to designate areas to be gun free. This will be abused. I suspect that everything but the sidewalks will be designated "gun free". We'll see this revisited in two years (next legislative session) and fixed. The controllers out maneuvered our people with our people thinking "it'll be fine". Well, it won't be and we'll be back at this two years from now.

We'll also see another push for Constitutional Carry in the next session. I don't know if it'll pass then, or take another session, but I predict that Texas will have Constitutional Carry in the next two sessions.

Why does Texas only meet every 2 years?
While no one ever listens to me,
