    the Ar mags take away from it.


    IMHO, they should make their own AR mag that more resembles the original . still lots of $$$

    Affordable .... surely you jest? They plan; swappable barrels for length and chambering. I predict it will be $1800 plus or minus 50 bucks. The only thing good about the STG44 is that it was the first of it's kind, the "assault rifle". It has many flaws when viewed through the prism of modern knowledge. For starters no handguards to keep from cooking your hand once you get a mag through the weapon.

    This is great if you're a WWII reenactor. I can't see any practical reason for it otherwise.

    My prediction for MSRP is $2500 minimum. I like the CETME-L that they have, too.
