    Bought the Tapco Retainer Plate

for the fcg in my AK63D. Damn it fit like it was made just for that app.
Was tight but with a small tap from a wooden dowel, the plate lined right up. Snap,
click, it's in! The rifle came with a Tapco G2 double hook trigger and it breaks
at around 3.5-4.0 lbs with very little creep. The trigger almost feels to smooth
and lite to be an AK type trigger.

Sounds good, but I thought you were going to send it back to get that gas tube latch fixed.

Yeah, I guess I am. I am also going to have the look at the bayo lug. I just
cannot get the type II AKM bayo to fit and I have tried to force it on there.
I going to call them in the morning.

Called CAI today and we have the process going forward, to send the rifle back. Since I do not have a place
to shoot anymore I am not really concerned (within reason) with the turn around time. I just need it right.
