    Really?

Are you kidding me! People have no idea here what this is really worth! Wow! Not at that price that's for sure.

That's the one I mentioned in the other thread
It's been stalled at that price for three days now. Way before that I'd be looking at a pre ban but there's one of those listed at over two grand with a reserve not met last I looked
Guess I'll keep hoping to come across the widow that doesn't know about her late husbands gun collection

The only real advantage is that the rifle is marked "ARM" which was the name of the Maadis imported in the early to mid 1980s. In the 90s they were marked RSL and in the late 90s they were marked MISR. Though it was emasculated to comply with U.S. Customs castration of all imported EBRs, the receiver and barrel are of the collectible ARM series. I still think the guys' reserve is over the upper limit of how valuable those are, though.

So $1500 is not enough for a $300 rifle?!?!?!??!

I wonder what the seller is smoking?

Um MAADI ARM rifles haven't been $300 EVER. Not even in the 1980s when I bought MINE.

Actual ARM marked receivers are collectible. What concerns me is how the US importers had to castrate the damned thing in order to get it into the country. But that being said, Maadi ARM rifles ARE valuable.

Sorry tank_monkey, but I bought three ARMs ranging from $300 to $325. The one in the auction recon posted is an ACC/Intrac with Bush-hole stock indicating the obvious.

If you are talking mid 1980s, yes they were in the $1000 range but were Steyr imports. Steyr is recognized as the only pre-Bush1-ban ARM. I have heard of one or two imported by someone else pre-Bush but have not been able to verify.
