    Nice. I've been wondering why they don't just modernize the M16s with all the new fancy civilian shit instead of continuously trying to replace it with one overweight plastic ar-18 rip-off after another.

    Having both key-mod and M-lok handguards, I can say they both do the same thing. The key-mod accessories seem to attach easier, but the m-lok handguards and accessories are cheaper. I think price is the biggest reason Canada is going with M-lok. Neither is really better than the other, IMHO.
