I notice they were kind enough to include that huge list of all the hundreds or thousands of firearms not effected by the ban in some attempt, I presume, to show others it's not intended to deny firearms ownership, after all, we can still have all these other guns. What a crock.

There is a whole lot wrong with this opening sentence. To regulate assault weapons, to ensure that the right to keep and bear arms is not unlimited, and for other purposes.

Well my son built a fifty last week so he beat them to the punch. BTW, you can actually shoulder the thing. The muzzle brake is that effective.
Well Merry freakin Christmas. It won't pass its just a dog and pony show. At least my SKS is exempt.
We can't let these morons get congress back. Or the Supreme court

That's kinda open ended right there.

I agree. I never look at it through the prism of "Gee I got MINE".... I've always fought against all AW bans. Even though I was one of the lucky ones to get them the deadline and are grandfathered in, I still bristle at the fact that new guys can't buy anything. When the rest of us DIE off, that means that future generations won't be able to get SQUAT .... and that's an abomination.

These idiots have no thought of the future. Sure do we have a totalitarian regime in office. NO! sometimes if feels like it, but no. Move to North Korea, Iran, or Venezuela if you want a tastes of that. But who knows what the USA will look like 25, 50, 100 years from now. We cannot rob the future generations of the USA of their only defense so they can get some brownie points with their constituents today.
The 2nd amendment has nothing to do with Hunting or sport shooting. It has everything to do with protecting the citizens of the USA from whatever may come. And that is something nobody ever seems to get. Honestly if you take the 2nd amendment word for word. Assault rifles are probably the only weapon that should be legal.

Yep. The anti-Americans have had a hard-on for .50-cal for years. Semi-auto, single shot - doesn't matter - they want them gone. If .50-caliber rifles are ever banned nation-wide, they won't stop there: They will move on down the line of "deadly terrorist/military sniper rifle" calibers and "big game rifle" calibers. As for the AWB of 2015, it looks like HR 4269 is simply a copy/paste bill that the Dims keep re-introducing time and time again, hoping that one day it will slip through. Here it is from 2009:

Correct! The Southern Poverty Law Center helped Bill Cliton come up with the Assault Weapon ban of 1994. They also prepared a Sniper Rifle ban document. If I recall correctly they listed any rifle capable of 4" or better grouping at 100 yards as a Sniper Rifle that would be banned from future sale to the US Citizens. The huge backlash over the Assault Weapon ban and the loss of both houses for the Dummcraps shelved that plan.
