Land grab by the Feds in Oregon?

There was an interview with David French, a constitutional lawyer and a columnist for National Review, on KMOX radio today. He had a VERY interesting take on the Hammond issue in Oregon. You can hear the interview (~16 min.) at this page, then clicking on the appropriate interview. http://stlouis.cbslocal.com/audio/mark-reardon-show/

You can also read Mr. French's article at National Review.

This is an incredible story of over-reach by the Feds, and "punishment" being excessive for the charges.

I heard most of this and more today. Problem is, they have already been tried and convicted in the media. They are seen as gun toting right wing militia types and that stigma will stick to them like the prison terms (if they aren't shot soon) they will get. It's really a big ass crime that has been commited by the government. Sadly, nothing shocks me anymore.

"And how we burned in the camps later thinking, what would things have been like, if every security operative, when he went out at night to make an arrest, had been uncertain, whether he would return alive and had to say good-bye to his family?"
