    I Don't Think China Is Going To Be The World's Currency

    There has been talk the last few years about the Chinese yuan replacing the dollar as the global currency. I bet that after the last few months, and especially the last few days, that this is not going to happen.

    I imagine whoever steps out first as backing their currency with gold will become the world reserve, be that a single nation or the nwo. But before that happens I am thinking it will all come crashing down, China decided to disconnect the brakes on its stock market, ie, if it crashes they're not going to prop it up like they have twice in the last two days. If china crashes I suspect everyone crashes because the markets are so intertwined with each others debt.

    The shit is going to hit the fan.

    This time they couldn't or didn't bother to manipulate gld and slv, both up on the bad news from China;

    Germany is still waiting on its gold from the fed. Also, I seriously doubt the US fedgov has any gold at all. Anyway, I note China, Russia, and India are absent from that list, combined I bet they have more gold than the rest of the world, and the bric currency may end up being the new world reserve. But who knows how this crap is going to go down.

    I love how everyone in "finance" is saying put everything into the market and if you are going to buy metal, buy paper metal.

    Weird how all the mega banks and countries are snapping up the physical stuff as fast as possible.

    I'll keep stacking the physical stuff.

    When the crap really hits the fan the paper gold will be worthless. And from what I have read most of the companies out there would have trouble backing there paper gold with real gold if they ever had too. Its almost a Ponzi scheme.
    When some wild-eyed, eight-foot-tall maniac grabs your neck, taps the back of your favorite head up against the barroom wall, and he looks you crooked in the eye and he asks you if ya paid your dues, you just stare that big sucker right back in the eye, and you remember what ol' Jack Burton always says at a time like that: "Have ya paid your dues, Jack?" "Yessir, the check is in the mail." ----- Jack Burton 1986

    I would remove the "almost" from your last sentence.

    Yeah that buying metal on paper never sounded smart to me.
