I expect to see an explosion of threads about terrorist attacks all over the country with some bigger ones in NYC, LA, etc... along with the Fox News reports, FB posts, etc.

Every time I read an "alert" thread, it makes me think of this.

So far, we've only seen "lone wolf" attacks but I think those are just to test the system - in preparation for a nation-wide, coordinated attack. They expose the SOP that first responders use and allow for planning to make the most of these procedures - in terms of maximizing the death toll.

I don't mean to sound paranoid. I'm sure nobody here will be surprised beyond the initial shock when it happens. There have to be hundreds of isis cells just waiting for the green light.

Figure 8 to 9 months out. With our elections all just to make we the people feel good, taking down the electric grid in some of the major voting areas would be interesting. I long for the day of "the hanging chad" because at least you had paper to physically hold and count. With the age of electronic voting, there is no reason for recount, because after all, computers don't lie. (wink wink)

Another is will Russia, China, Iran, NK, and the like foster and embolden jihadsters to act, with material support from the big powers? That way the big powers can deny involvement while reaping the benefits from having patsies do your dirtywork.
