    A must read. Especially the comments.

    This is the front man for the band that was
    playing on Nov. 13 in Paris.
    Remember 90 were killed at the venue.

    Hughes told iTélé that he felt he had “a sacred responsibility to finish this show”. In his AFP interview he vowed that tonight’s gig would “be a regular rock show”, despite the area around the Olympia being locked down by police, and psychologists and psychiatrists on hand to help survivors and if necessary escort them from the venue if they feel unable to stay for the whole show.

    Grief counselors for the show? Part of the problem?

    good for him. was never a fan before (never heard of them) but i am now. (even thought i still havent heard any of their music)

    i get teh feeling that the armed guards and psychologists were not their idea.

    his original interview a few weeks after that basically stated that a few of the venues security were in on it too.

    The first time I heard one of their songs was while watching True Blood with the wife. This song was in one of the episodes.

    Never cared for the Eagles of Death Metal, Queens of the Stone Age, or Them Crooked Vultures (all of which this guy fronts). But I'm absolutely applauding his vocal stance regarding this issue. Well said.
