I don't trust Pope Francis, he started strong, kicking out opulent bishops and cardinals, walking amongst the crowds, celebrating mass at prisons. Then he started offering some pretty far out there statements, the one that bothered me most was the statement, "all religions are true".
Most Catholics I know don't feel too warm about him.

I watched this as well and the communist Canadian news media were almost bursting with joy that the pope and trump weren't seeing eye to eye. For some reason they think this will cause the religious Catholics, which the media thinks is trumps main support will turn against him.

I guess i have not seen the vids you guys have. I saw and heard him directly going after trump for seeki g to build a wall. I guess maybe i missed something? Hopefully, otherwise you guys are like dims playing word games. I felt it was painfully obvious he was speaking about trump, and only when he and his aides saw the possible issues with him jumping into american politics even more did he try to 'clarify' his words.

I am so very happy that Trump is Presbyterian as I am , It is amazing that there is anyone from New York that is not Catholic or Jewish. I have never met or heard of a Catholic that was not, Italian, Irish, or Scottish, or Hispanic. J.F.K. was a different kind of Catholic. Today there are very, very, few Catholic Conservatives.

I have to admit, my support for Donald Trump was waning; but Obama's and the Pope's comments about him made me want to vote for him again. I keep on going back and forth between supporting Ted Cruz and Donald Trump. The more radical leftists like Obama and the Pope keep bashing Donald Trump; the more convinced I become that Trump is our guy. In any case, I'd be more than happy to cast a vote for Donald Trump or Ted Cruz this November.
