I started another thread about the movie the big short, and then looked at which of the candidates were getting money from the big banks, I put the following originally in that thread, but decided it was worth its own thread as it does a good job of showing who is owned by who.
Looking at donor list for the candidates.
Cruz donors: Largest single donor $705,657 was from a group with no apparent public financial info called Club for Growth, no idea where their money actually comes from. Goldman sachs donated $69,350. Woodforest Fincial gave $111,500, and is a bank and subsidiary of Wal-mart. A couple other big bailout banks and some groups that have very vague descriptions and even vaguer financials

Trump:A couple real estate groups, then a bunch of random small companies. The biggest single donor was $50,000 from a San Diego real estate group, after that the dollar amounts taper off quickly.

Rubio donors: largest single is $96,840 from Wiley Rein LLP, which is a K street lobbyist. Goldman Sachs gave $91,420 and the rest of the list is major corporations and banks.

Just for fun
Clinton Donors:Largest single is $7,038,800 from Soros, she has an insane amount of money raised so far compared to the big three Republicans combined, not counting Trumps personal money. The big spenders are banks, hollywood, unions. What the fuck some how she got around $130,000 from the US Department of State.
