Every centerfold from the beginning (Marilyn Monroe!) to the last nude playmate Kristy Garrett (Feb 2016). This is the END of an institution. The Internet destroyed it as most OTHER girly magazines. Why pay for anything now since so much nakedness and everything up to hardcore porn is available online for free?

I kinda like seeing how the trends and women changed with the decades. There were definitely 'different' standards of beauty back in the day.

And I don't care what the younger guys say, I don't particular care for girls completely covered in gigantic tattoos, ear gauges or weird piercings. that's bullshit right there and I was always glad Playboy didn't succumb to that crap.

It's interesting to see how the photo sessions changed over the years. I grew tired of Playboy toward the end of the 80s because the shoots seemed to be more lingerie modeling sessions. The teased hair, heavy make and lack of skin got boring. The later models went from full bush to landing strips to plain bald pussy. I'm sure plenty of guys liked that, but I find that just a little too "pedo". I like women to look like women, not children with boobs.

Is it just me, or do I find myself kinda lusting after the VINTAGE looking women? The makeup and hair of different bygone eras is retro and kinda hot. More so than the more current 'trendy' hair and makeup. There is all sorts of "hotness' right there and a lot of it is vintage.

Yup. Lots of stuff there. It was quite a job to make scripts to extract the image links from the web page and also the playmate names, then when I downloaded all the images they had weird names like "6qZpC2x.jpg", so I needed another script to find each "strange" name and rename it to the playmate's name.jpg.

Here's what one of the scripts looks like (obviously not ALL of it since it's so long):

I had to find every occurance of class="post-image-container post-image-container--spacer" then grab the NEXT line for the playmate name, then replace any spaces in the name with "_" (underscore).

And of course the actual image name was found by taking the DIV element ID, then using it to construct the full name: http:/i.imgur.com/ plus 6qZpC2x plus .jpg

The whole job took about 1.5 hours.....
