I need an a/c compressor for my Wrangler. I got a starter on Amazon for 29.00, but the compressor page they have doesn't give me the ability to indicate year, engine, etc. That makes me afraid to order it.

If you want to spend more money and redo a job you already did, buy cheap parts and install them. Two weeks down the road they will leave you stranded. Rock auto seems to have the best rep for online buying, I like napa myself.

I get my parts from the dealership. I know they cost more but it makes me feel better putting the parts in that it originally was supposed to have. I don't trust aftermarket parts.

I've been burnt buying bum parts from orieleys and auto zone. I buy oem parts from amazon mostly
I buy from partstrain.com Usually quick. Much cheaper than autozone, ect. I can also pick which brand I want.
The only auto parts I buy are for my '74 Volkswagen Thing and I buy them off eBay. So far, I've had great luck with those parts.
