Arabic-speaking student says he was victim of Islamophobia
LOS ANGELES (AP) — A college student and Iraqi refugee yanked from a Southwest Airlines flight after mentioning a terrorist group's name during a phone conversation in Arabic said Monday he was degraded and humiliated and wants a public apology.

Khairuldeen Makhzoomi, who arrived in the U.S. in 2010 as an Iraqi refugee, was removed from the April 9 flight from Los Angeles to Oakland, California, after the airline said another Arabic-speaking passenger reported hearing him say something that alarmed her.

Didn't take this guy long to figure out how to milk the legal system. Really, you have to talk to your uncle in Iraq about a terrorist group in arabic on a US flight & expect no consequences. What a set up. Hope Southwest tells this guy to #$%$ off.

Enough "Islamophobia" already. We need a new word instead of that. Islamophobia means fear of islam. I don't "fear" islam; I HATE islam.

We need an new word for hate of islam. "Islamohatred" just doesn't have the right sound to it.

Phobos (as in islamophobe, heterophobe, etc phobe) means fear, deimos means terror. Regardless, islam makes its own case every day as a "religion of peace".

A phobia is an unnatural fear.

So, is there actually a law preventing islamophobia? Or is it like calling someone a racist which falls under who cares.

The idea is to deny and redirect when islam blows something up, lops heads, or takes captives for sex slavery. If one takes note of, complains about, or just talks about when islam blows something up, lops heads, or takes captives for sex slavery they want that to be termed islamophobia. They also want every evil that islam does to be caused by islamophobia. If islamophobia didn't exist, muslims wouldn't have to blow something up, lops heads, or takes captives for sex slavery. I'm sure you understand now.

15 of the 19 muslims perpetrated 911 are Saudis?

No it's not. Fear of spiders is VERY common (therefore "natural"). Most people have "arachnophobia".
