I picked up a nice 1943 Tokarev Tula SVT 40.
Don't know much about it, Looks live a AVT 40 stock (safety notch on both sides )
bluing on bolt was removed?
nice bayonet, Magazine pouch.
I really enjoy shooting this rifle

lucky finding a bayonet as well. Here in Canada the rifles are quite common but the bayonets are a real problem to find. I had one of the rifles and found it too loud and troublesome to clean.

In Canada are your Mags pined to 5 rounds?
yea cleaning is a pain, but I like loud and the muzzle flash is sweet

Is that a rifle or a flame thrower!?!
It actually looks cool and a period correct bayonet is a nice accessory for any milsurplus rifle.

I have to agree, I love getting all the period correct items for each milsurplus rifle I have.
including Bayonets, scabbards, Ammo pouches, Slings and even the correct ammo.
My 1943 M1 Garand I have a correct Bayonet, Sling, Cleaning kit, oil tube, tool kit, ammo and coins.
1942 K98K Mauser I have the correct Bayonet, Sling, Cleaning kit, oil tube, ammo pouch, ammo and coins.
A correct bayo for a SDV40 normally runs about $250... good find.
We found out what "dealing" with progressive lefties is all about. Our side gives up something, they give up nothing and the progressives come back in a month or a year and want us to give up more... rinse and repeat...
Super nice find you got there. They are one of those rifles that I wish I had purchased when they first showed up in the US. I seem to recall them for about $225 dealer in Shotgun News adds around 1995 or 96.
