After 6 years I finally have my own work shop again

A little over 6 years ago I packed away all my tools and left for the navy, and I finally have a garage to set up a shop. I have some lights on the way and will be installing a few more 110 outlets a 220 hook up for a TIG/stick/plasma cutter.

Just bought the tool chest and grinder.

I also have a gun and reloading workshop coming along in my smallest upstairs bedroom, I have the bench but am still organizing and gathering tools.

Looks good. Do you own the house?

Yeah, closed on it in February, 4 bedroom, 2.5 bath, 2000sqft, I'll live here for the next 3-6 years then turn it into a rental property. It's a little more work but I would rather the navy buy me a house then give it all to an apartment complex.

No it's a brand new house, my first construction project is going to be a patio in my backyard with a grill area and fire pit but that will have to wait a few months. I am starting on the safes in earnest this weekend, I was holding off any real work until I got to this point. Before last weekend all my tools were in boxes on the ground and I don't like starting projects in messy shops. In fact under the drill press is a small borrowed sand blasting tank to get the cast iron wheels clean.

Nice. Sounds like you're going to have a nice set up once it's all said and done.
