This is something you don't see every day. On where to get a receiver, I have no idea.

I'm not sure if it was using a standard length M1 receiver. The BM59's are in 7.62 NATO. I know the handguard is shorter than a standard M1. I think SARCO use to have BM59 stocks / kits and possibly receivers. Haven't looked at them in 5 or 6 years.

you can use a garand receiver, sarco sells the blueprints on what needs machined.

new barrels for these are coming too. As with anything like this, they will be short chambered to set the headspace properly.

its nice that the Aim kits come with 2 mags. This is another rifle where you venture into the $50+ mag category.

Tradex in Canada has Garand receivers. Not sure if they can ship to the US but worth asking, they are only $50. I bought one and have been picking away at buying other garand parts. Someday i will have enough to build a mate for my '44 springfield. They can then get married and have little carbines together.

Centerfire systems and Sarco have these kits as well if you want to shop around. Mags are around too, so either shit or get off the pot.
