    13 Hours / Benghazi movie

I know it came out last year and I searched but couldn't find any discussion of the movie by people here that saw it.

I watched it last night on DVD. Intense movie. I am not sure of the accuracy and want to research that more, it conflicts with some things I thought I knew.

    In general:
-the term "bulletproof" was used a lot to mean that repeated and sustained point blank AK fire would have no effect
-the CIA guys should have been on the damn roof with rifles
-the weapons handling and firefights were done well I think
-the movie basically made it look like the 120mm mortar attack was what screwed them up, but there was no follow up assault

I watched it with a Democrat-supporter relative. His take on it was "the Pentagon dragged their feet" and his takeaway from the movie was that it was all their screw up. Just goes to show, one can always find the story that suits one's view.

    The Pentagon? Yeah, right.

The order to stand down didn't start at the pentagon.
"And how we burned in the camps later thinking, what would things have been like, if every security operative, when he went out at night to make an arrest, had been uncertain, whether he would return alive and had to say good-bye to his family?"

Yeah. That order came from an obscure, large, white, rectangular house with a tall, metal fence around the yard, located in downtown DC somewhere, and currently resided in by a narcissistic, self-important, America-hating, racist, Mulatto, and a gender-neutral Wookie, who has to sneak up on a mirror to be able to comb the facial hair out of her lips.

I heard someone hint today that maybe the reason they knew where everyone was
in and around the compound was because someone had been reading hillary's server.

Amb. Chris Stevens’ sister: Don’t blame Hillary Clinton for Benghazi
Dr. Anne Stevens, chief of pediatric rheumatology at Seattle Children’s Hospital, is the sister of Ambassador Chris Stevens and has served as a family spokesperson since his death in 2012. In an interview with The New Yorker, she said “it doesn’t look like there’s anything new” in the Benghazi reports released by House Republicans and Democrats earlier this week.

“It is clear, in hindsight, that the facility was not sufficiently protected by the State Department and the Defense Department,” Dr. Stevens said. “But what was the underlying cause? Perhaps if Congress had provided a budget to increase security for all missions around the world, then some of the requests for more security in Libya would have been granted. Certainly the State Department is under-budgeted.

“I do not blame Hillary Clinton or Leon Panetta,” she added. “They were balancing security efforts at embassies and missions around the world. And their staffs were doing their best to provide what they could with the resources they had. The Benghazi mission was understaffed. We know that now. But, again, Chris knew that. It wasn’t a secret to him. He decided to take the risk to go there. It is not something they did to him. It is something he took on himself.”

I wonder what it took to get her to say this. I would guess a lot....

at this time, what does it really matter. The news media has placed the clintons above the law. The justice system, or lack of justice system has placed the clintons above the law, and anyone who disagrees manages to die a strange death, so who is going to disagree?

Also guessing some got a stern clinton talking to at the hospital.

I don't know if this would sit well with the families, but if I were Trump, I'd run an ad about the 3 oclock call with clinton shutting off her phone and rolling back over, then show the 4 dead and say something like she got the call and went back to bed as these 4 died..... What makes you think she would be any different as President?

I dunno, I kinda get the idea she and 0bama, while eating popcorn, was watching it live via armed drones circling overhead.
