I have an idea that if Bernie hadn't caved, and decided to go for the nomination, his supporters would have brought the house down and prevented a relatively smooth convention. I can imagine the riots and fights that would have ensued.
Since he caved and threw over to the dark side, his backers didn't really have anyone to rally behind.

I find it hard to grasp that people don't question that after the school was destroyed the rubble then had to be destroyed. Also, find it hard to believe that few people questioned the picture of Noah Pozner showing up as the victim of a bombing in Pakistan. What has been learned during the last few years is that ridicule and terms like "birther" or "truther" are all that is needed to deflect anyone questioning the government version of an event.
