ATF = Executive, Judiciary, and Legislative powers all in one agency.

For a non-reloader I need this interpreted for me. I understand it has something to do with ammo manufacturing but I don't understand what. Did the ATF just make using smokeless powder much more difficult?

Ammo and powder manufactures will now need a federal explosives manufacturing or storage and usage license. Not sure if this would extend to reloaders

Understand. So the ATF is moving to make ammo more expensive in order to restrict our purchasing ability.

says in the article that it does not effect black powder. So your constitutionally protected muskets are still safe.

At least, that's the only decent thing to come out of this. They've already made it so most of the vendors who used to sell black powder stopped selling it. It had something to do with the storage facility requirements that made it so most of the dealers couldn't comply.

Around here, no store sells black powder anymore. They've all had to switch to Pyrodex type powders, which don't work very well in flintlocks.

And, forget trying to buy it through the mail. The cost is prohibitive.

I remember when you could buy it by the barrel and have it shipped to your house. Not any more.

The ATF was beat back again. It will be hard to continue doing this is Clinton wins. The only chance of bringing the ATF to heal is to elect Trump.
