A Sudanese male, import, (muslim) drove his car into a crowd of students standing on a curb, then got out and started stabbing people. Police shot and killed him.

So far, not much news other than this.

Most of what I wrote, I heard on the radio.

The radio said that police are looking into the motive.... actually, that's not that hard to figure out. Muslim male, Islamist, follower of Allah, attacks and tries to kill Americans, then allows himself to be killed.....yeah, right. I can see why they can't figure out a motive....

Local authorities said that the fire department was on scene for a gas leak but didn't say an alarm was pulled or not. Heard it reported that the bad guy had complained about not having a place to pray. That's the only thing I heard regarding any "issues" between he and the university.

So, allah ONLY listens when a follower is in a mosque? Then, why do they always yell, "allah akbar" when they kill others outside of a mosque? allah isn't listening.

The university sent out a tweet that I believe said something about an active shooter and the flee, shelter in place or fight. That may be because they don't have an alarm for active stabber or they didn't know if it would escalate. I know my first thought was that it was another shooting and I bet that's what a lot of people thought. Mid the media is still reporting it as an "active shooter" I'd have a problem with but at the time I can see why they might have reported it as such.

The reports I have heard claim the killer was born in Somalia and brought to the U.S. as a child. The same radio news story also said the killer had achieved his "permanent residency" status, but I don't think this is as same as a "green card", or is it? And they did say that somebody had pulled a fire alarm in that particular building which is why the people were evacuating the building when the teen drove his car into them.
