so you probably heard in the news about this asshole harassing Ivanka on the airplane today and getting kicked off as a result. Well someone found his phone number. I called and got his voicemail. So i just did my best call to prayer impersonation i could muster. till my throat was dry. I am assuming his voicemail is probably full by now and the number changed. But it was fun while it lasted.

I can't believe JetBlue rebooked him on another flight. He should have lost his reservation and had to start from scratch. His attack was premeditated (there is a post out there bragging that he was on his way to "harass" Ivanka) and was not a response to anything she did except to have different political beliefs than he. For the plane to act like this was somehow excusable behavior is sad.

Technically I don't think the petition to fire this guy from his job will work. Technically it was his 'husband' who was the douchebag. But who knows? People have been fired from jobs because of the notoriety of their 'spouses' before, especially if they either 'helped' or 'supported' the bad behavior in any way.
Remember the 'Devil of Detroit Street' Jennifer Petkov? Her husband lost his job because she was taunting a dying 7 yr old girl with Huntington's Disease. Though it was the wife who was crazy and evil, her husband and her kids had to suffer because of it. In today's instant information social media world, the amount of anger and retribution you can reap is astonishing.
The real sad thing is that it is taking a petition for anything to be done at all. This is not a free speech issue, it is a common decency issue that should have been handled immediately without public input. That neither employer has done anything says a lot about the state of our country.

While I agree with your assessment, he does belong to a "protected" group. Besides the fact that he works at a University, a cesspool of liberal ideology, the firing of a homosexual without well documented cause would almost certainly invite litigation.
