    2017 random firearm pic thread.

    I'll start.






    Jap Type "I" , Beretta contract rifle in 6.5 jap . looks like a type 38 but it's on a carcano action using the mauser/arisaka 5rd box.
    no outside markings other than a simple Ser# and barrel proof mark - the beretta markings are on the underside of the barrel .
    Most of these never got issued so a good chunk of them have that NIB look .

    Interesting. I knew they issued more than just the Type 99 rifle which seems to be the one I see most often but never really knew anything about the others. Thank you for posting.

    I got one of those nice Mas-36's off of WHOS for $40 probably 14 years ago .

    Very cool. I belive forgotten weapons did a video on the Japanese carcano if I'm not mistaken.
