Well, an amazing turn around happened. A federal judge ruled that a lawsuit brought about by 5 of the police officers in the Freddie Gray case CAN sue Baltimore State's Attorney, Marilyn Mosby, and the Assistant Sheriff for filing false charges against them.
A-G Mosby has immunity while prosecuting a case, but not while investigating a case. Since she, personally, investigated the case, she lost her immunity against any lawsuits that might be filed against her.
Of course, the author of the article sides with the the A-G:
"There’s something so evil about the fact that the people who are responsible for the loss of a life, are attempting to sue a woman who was simply trying to hold someone accountable for it."
It sounds to me like the author could be involved in a lawsuit as the officers were found not responsible for his death, yet, she claims they were.
This could get very interesting....
