I just took and passed the Project Management Professional certification exam! I am pretty excited. It was almost 4 months of studying and preparation after work and on weekends, but it is now done! Now I can go shooting again!

Actually, no it is not, that would be more along the lines of Lean/Six Sigma Yellow/Green/Black belts (I got my black belt about 18 months ago). This is about expertise in project management and trying to get some standardization into the area of project management. More and more companies have this as a prerequisite for positions that I am interested in so I did it to help my resume. Retirement is only 2 years away, got to be prepared!

Already did. The first years membership dues were less that what I saved on the exam by being a member so it was worth it. We will see about next year, though!
