    IMR enduron powder

I decided to try and figure out a load for .308 win that my Savage 99 likes. Decided to go with the IMR 4166 powder. I bought into the advertising and hype. The reviews seem good. I read a good write up on Chuck Hawks on this series of powders. Has additives to reduce copper fouling and it is supposedly impervious to temperature changes. This will help when I work up a load and sight in during the summer then hunt during the fall. The grains are smaller then normal imr stick powders as well so should help with metering. Anyone got any experience with this enduron series? I will make another threw later on when I get to shooting it.

4895 is purple. 4064 is blue. I use 4895 in my garand. Its the original powder for m2 ball. Works well. I use to use 4064 in 6.5x55se hopefully this new one lives up to its expectations. Seems to be a lot nor available because people might be a little reluctant to make the switch.

No experience with it. I still have more of the old IMR powders than I will probably ever load and shoot up.
