    Can Anyone Identify This Gun

Gun appears at 5:14 for only a second or less - looks to me like a black powder double barrel or some kind of an Elephant gun. I am thinking the soldier is possibly a Gurkha. I was watching this video on the allied attempt to recapture Burma in WWII and when I saw this gun I thought WTF?

I think your eyes are bad, the gun at 5:14 is either a p-14 or p-17 enfield.

Maybe they are bad but I just looked again and see two external hammers. Maybe what I am seeing is background vegetation. An enfield would make sense.

What you see are the ears on the rear sight .

Then your eyes are bad also but you're correct that raxar is correct.

Double bbl, black powder, 2 external hammers, rear sight ears. i think op was wondering why he thought
he was seeing 2 hammers. spoke of it in the op and on a post later. Now i on the other hand could
not, in my wildest dreams, have told you what the rifle was but i did tell him what he saw. You agreed with what raxar said and
while several were correct on the rifle, that was not what jet was looking for.

While maybe your eyes are not really bad you all didn't see the question.

Still don't know what your issue is, but okay. Raxar was correct. The OP's eyes were bad. My guess would have concurred with his regarding it being either a P14 or a 30-06 chambered P17. That's what I said. nothing wrong with my eyesight.

Yeah and you prolly never will. I was seeing the tree not the forest. As I said jet was asking about seeing
    double triggers a 5:14. Nevermind.............
