    Subsonic .308

Got a mossberg .308 night train. It has a 10/1 twist rate. I have some Beck subsonic .308 and it says the twist rate should be 1/11 to 1/12 to stabilize.
Anyone know the best sub .308 for this rifle? Thanks.

No opinion other than your 1 in 10 twist will do a better job stabilizing than the recommended twist rates. Frankly a subsonic .308 bullet shooter ... isn't that why they made .300 Black Out?

OK, found some 10/1 .308. Everywhere I looked it was out of stock. Going to try the 1/11 and see how much the difference is between the two. Yea, 300 black out would be better if i was going full auto with non subsonic with a can. But I'll be shooting a bolt action with a can and the non subsonic.308 works fine. I just started playing around with the subsonic. So far I am impressed with the sound level, I didn't at first know how important the twist rate is when shooting subsonic until I bought 5 boxes of the 11/1. Live and learn LOL. Anyway, thanks Schuetzenman.
