world famous bobski junk list, always changing. come see!

as I age, the need for all my decades of gun stuff is dwindling. its time to find it all a new home. some may laugh, some may drool. as the old saying goes, ones mans junk is another mans treasure. I hope its so for you.
im required to list a price so I do. but if you see something you want to hem-and-haw over, pm me. I play the obo
the list will change often as I dig it all out. so visit often.
to save me from posting pics, if you want to see something, just pm me and i'll post you a pic here. seems I cant send pics on pms. sorry. ask for it by line number, (i/e: ww2 mag pouch, item 4.) etc...
depending where I am in the states determines the speed of loading pics, because I never know what kind of computer i'll be using. so bare with me. it may be dialup at times!
if I sell something, I will delete it from the list as fast as I can.
all sales are.... as is, and you pay s&h. for sheet paper products that cant be folded, its a 5.00 minimum. I prefer usps pri standard flat rate rounded up simply because I can be at any of my numerous homes in the nation at any given time. I may quote you and carry it with me to be shipped at my next destination, to keep you from waiting until I return. from years of dealing on ebay and other sites, im not going to be pulled in to the nit-picking game over s&h. im not going to drive 25 miles to the post office, stand in usps lines for 20 minutes to get an exact quote for zip to zip, pack it, buy boxes, tape, labels, and bubble wrap, only to have someone gripe and reneg over shipping costs. I will quote the best lowest price I can. if it wont fit in a usps pri box, I reserve the right to ship it anyway and in anything I can to best suit the situation.
another thing ive learned in the decades being on the net is...what people say and what people do is not always honest. if you say you want an item, im giving you 2 days to get me your address and 10 days for a payment. if not, whoevers name and payment gets to me first, gets the item. staking claim to an item in this thread by using your post as proof of first come first served without a commitment on your part is a lie. sorry for being stern, but in the short time ive been here, I got bit 3 times. that's high odds.
considering what im selling this stuff for and the fact im willing to haggle, I feel im being very fair overall. thank you.

cash, check or mo is fine. im just a guy sitting in a living room. u.s. lower 48 sales only.
    pm me for more info.
    hope you find something.
items 1 thru 51 are in va and 52 thru 101 are in mo.
heres the first wave that came out of the attic. enjoy.

Up for auction now is a copy of the famous cruise map of going under the north pole made by SSN-571. The story of this map is they were handed out to crew members from the ships store. It was signed by the original crew. These aren’t commercial copies. This account was made from my uncle, who served on board SSN-571 as the storekeeper. When it was time to clean up the shop, they were to be tossed out. My uncle was a pack rat, and here you have it. Its a true piece of naval history. It is old, fragile, yellowed, and frayed on some corners from being rolled up for what, 60 years? Its about 34” x 30”. Remember, this is a ships copy, NOT the actual map. Still, very rare to see one in its original condition off the SSN-571 with a story....................350.00

I am interested in 62 and 63, the Navy Expert rifle and pistol medals in box. What do you mean "in box"? I have never seen them come in anything other than an envelope. Can you send or post a picture of them?

I tried to push the envelope, but found that it was stationery.

Have you heard about the new corduroy pillows? They're making head lines!

if they were given by admin, it was in an envelope.
if you bought it at the exchange, it was a blue box.
let me go look and make sure its the right box for the medals.

I was sort of hoping that it was different. I don't know if you know but if you get an old Navy Good Conduct Medal the ribbon is different. The ribbon used to be flat with the medal hanging from a bar where now the medal is hung from the ribbon through a ring. I was sort of hoping it would be something like that but it looks just like what we are awarded now (minus the box!).
