    Routine arrest leads Minneapolis police to arsenal

    The man flagged down officers, the complaint says, but the men from inside car continued to yell at him and resisted the officers’ attempts to control the situation. The men were insistent they needed to be near the car because a drone was coming to deliver a package, the complaint said. Because of the suspicious circumstances and fear for the man’s safety, the men were placed in the squad while officers searched their car.

    Inside, the officers found a hand grenade, handgun, assault rifles and magazines and a large quantity of ammunition, the complaint said. They also found cellphones, computers and electronics equipment, including drone parts.

    It could not be determined whether the FBI or another federal agency is investigating.

    I wonder if the grenade was real. The local news did a story here about "grenades" being found in an abandoned house. The bomb squad was called to dispose of them. A picture of the actual "grenades" clearly showed they were those novelty non-marked hollow grenade bodies sold at gun shows. The holes in the bottoms were even visible in the pic.

    I came to the same conclusion when I read the excerpt, but I was basing my assessment on "profiling" of the contents. And, we all know that profiling is illegal and doesn't work.... The name bears it out, but doesn't count, either.

    I wonder if the fools were really waiting for a drone to deliver them more jihad supplies.

    Also note this story;
    "The Department of Homeland Security said a man caused a disruption and was detained. His name was not released.
    There were no reports of injuries. The plane landed safely in Hawaii.
    A law enforcement source said the man is a Turkish national who had been drinking and acting up. At one point, the source said, he moved toward the cockpit. The source, who was not authorized to speak publicly, said they believe it was a case of an unruly passenger."

    Same story as above but giving the factual details;
    HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) -
    A Turkish national who tried to break into the cockpit Friday of a Honolulu-bound flight was subdued by passengers and flight crew shortly after charging his way into the first-class cabin.
    The suspect subsequently got on board the American Airlines flight. Several hours in, passengers and authorities said, he allegedly tried to breach the cockpit door, throwing himself up against a beverage cart as he tried to force his way into the first-class cabin.
    Passengers said the man had a blanket or towel on his head, and didn't say anything as he pushed forward.
    They used duct tape, pillows and blankets to make sure he couldn't get out of his seat in a security scare that prompted U.S. Pacific Command to scramble two F-22 Raptors from the Hawaii Air National Guard, which escorted the flight into Honolulu International Airport about 11:35 a.m.
    Flight attendants, an off-duty Los Angeles police officer and other passengers were able to stop the man and secure him in a seat, and no injuries were reported.
    "It was all kind of surreal," said Penny Lorenzen, a passenger on the flight. "It's amazing to me how calm everybody stayed. Angels were watching out for us."

    Interesting in the first story they leave out important details like how he tried to charge the cockpit door and that he's a Turk and his student visa had expired, or the presence of the F22s - they're there to shoot the plane down if it deviates from its flight path. I'm sure it's just a case of a drunk college student and not jihad or anything.

    You know, this would not have happened if we would just get rid of the "gun show loop hole" so that grenades are not available for sale at gun shows, at least not without passing a background check first.

    Agreed, please call your senatraitor and tell it to support Pelosi's gun show grenade loop hole back ground check anti freedom measure, sb666.
