Post The Law Giver from Battle of the Planet of the Apes(1973)

I found both of his Speeches from the Beginning and End of the last of the 5 Planet of the Apes Series, The first and best of them. I have not watched nor care to watch the new Series. I wish they would stop. I think, they used John Huston as the Lawgiver. He sounds like him. Paul

It is hard to see, but the Statue of Ceaser had Tears on its face. Paul

Right at the very end the statue sheds a tear in its left eye.

If anyone here has seen the new Series let me know what you think, The first 5 were enough for me. have no desire to watch any new ones.

Hobe, you are right. The Lawgiver was John Huston.

I remember seeing the originals at the drive-in when I was a kid and later when they made it to TV.

    The remakes....meh.

The Tim Burton one from a few years back was weird and the ending sucked, but the new ones aren't bad. Not like the originals but okay in their own right.
Where are we going and why are we in this handbasket???
