“I have little patience with people who take the Bill of Rights for granted. The Bill of Rights, contained in the first ten amendments to the Constitution, is every American’s guarantee of freedom.” - - President Harry S. Truman, “Years of Trial and Hope”
And, as far as the "bump-fire" stocks go, I seem to remember a trick where a shooter can tale a wooden dowel, 6-8 inches long and 1/2-3/8 in. diameter, put it through the trigger guard with the end pressing in to your hip, and pull the rifle forward with your other hand. It makes you hip rather sore fairly quickly and, shooting from the hip, there is no accuracy, but you put a fair amount of lead down range.
