Any Professional Engineers in the House?

After almost 10 years I am going to take the professional exam in April. I plan on studying 2-3 hours a night for the next few months. Wish me luck

    You got my best wishes.

I have not done it, but I know more than a few PEs. Most of the people I know took a refresher course to brush up on the advanced math, formulas and just to get used to answering understanding and answering the questions as they will be asked on the test. The studying is a good start, but you need to have a plan on what to study. Good luck!

I tried to push the envelope, but found that it was stationery.

I took mine after the traditional 4 years.
Since I'm a Civil, I found that the Civ Eng Ref Manual covered most of the items on the test. One thing that was a curveball for me was groundwater hydraulics, not hard but it was not covered well in the CERM.
    Good luck on yours.

MY oldest son got his PE about 10 years ago, it was the step he needed to cement his career in engineering. He said it was a lot of work to get to that point.
He specializes in designing mechanical systems for large data centers and works all over the world, He is the senior mechanical engineer for a 1.5 million sq.ft data center Apple is building in east mesa, az.

I wish you the all best in reaching this level in your career
