    Belgian Parka Flecktarn Camo

    I like the look of this jacket. I have some of the other Flecktarn camo jackets. Might just have to get it for xmas.

    Dark colors are much easier to pick out in a woods than lighter colors. I camouflaged two rifle stocks, one dark camo and the other light camo. The darker camouflage was much easier to see than the lighter one. I found that if I rested the lighter one against a tree, and I walked too far away, I had a hard time finding it.

    With lighter colors, shadows make it dark enough to blend in without having to use a dark color scheme. In direct sunlight, the dark colors stand out like a sore thumb.

    The colors I used were all flat, military colors I bought at a hobby store. They worked perfectly.If you use a dark color, use it very sparingly.

    Looks very similar to my German flectarn surplus jacket except for the orange coloring.
