This is 100% serious: In grade school there was one altar boy who told us that "Father XXXXX" made him touch and rub his (the priest's) penis and he told the kid that if he told anyone he would be "excommunicated" along with his entire family and they would all "go to hell".

His parents finally took him out of the school and put him into a public school because this crap made the kid start having bed-wetting episodes, but he wouldn't tell his parents what was wrong. On a suspicion, they removed him from the school and surprise... his bed wetting stopped AND his grades went up.

was the "religion" teacher in my high school freshman year. He's been since convicted of child molesting (although at the time we didn't know or hear anything about it).

What I can't figure is why Catholic priests are supposed to be "celibate". God invented our method of reproduction, but the church treats it like something disgusting or sinful.

For example, supposedly Jesus Christ was born through "immaculate conception".

Believe it or not, "immaculate conception" is a human term for what happened to Mary. All the Bible says is that the Spirit of God overshadowed her and she was found with child. None of the biblical writers called Mary's conception "immaculate."
