That sounds strangely reminiscent of Nazi talk IMO. Isn't the civilian Venezuela population lamenting the loss of their freedom to own firearms right now? I thought I read something about that somewhere. Why would anyone trust a government that would willingly go door to door and incarcerate/execute its citizens for enjoying freedoms that have been around for hundreds of years? Do they honestly believe it would stop there? "Oh, all the guns are gone. Now I can enjoy being truly free." or some such bullshit. Now that the people cannot properly defend themselves from foreign and domestic threats, what do these idiots think they are going to do when the government starts taking away other freedoms and adding more draconian restrictions? Or when criminals, armed with the now outlawed guns, come knocking at their back window at o' dark thirty? I don't believe it would stop. Crime will not just go away. I am sorry for the rant. I wish I had one of those. That was the experimental version of the later produced Sheridan tank. Odd little machine. My dad was a tank commander in the 82nd during the Gulf War. I had the opportunity to get this picture when I did a job at the Aberdeen Proving Grounds in Maryland a number of years back. I have always had a fondness for these tanks.
