No enemy of America would have ever been killed if they didn't show up to be killed. HDR

Yep, the train, the Mobley Hotel, the Bankhead Highway and Jean Porter are all from an early era of Cisco.

    Also home to:
    Santa Claus Bank Robbery
Williamson Dam...once largest hollow core dam in the world.
Had the world's largest outdoor concrete swimming pool below the dam.
First town west of Ft. Worth to have 2 railroad lines.
Had a shut down theater that had a working phone for 40 years after it closed.

Recalibrate your sarcasm meter, Krupski. You fine tuning is a sine wave or two off.

Since then I almost died in a crash crash inside that very same car. No idea what happened because my memory was erased by the concussion, but for some reason I wrapped my car around an oak tree going 50-45 mph, which is the speed limit.

What are you talking about? It's true.

U.S. law prevented the Hindenburg from using helium instead of hydrogen, which is more flammable. After the crash of the hydrogen-filled R101, in which most of the crew died in the subsequent fire rather than the impact itself, Hindenburg designer Hugo Eckener sought to use helium, a less flammable lifting gas. However, the United States, which had a monopoly on the world supply of helium and feared that other countries might use the gas for military purposes, banned its export, and the Hindenburg was reengineered. After the Hindenburg disaster, American public opinion favored the export of helium to Germany for its next great zeppelin, the LZ 130, and the law was amended to allow helium export for nonmilitary use. After the German annexation of Austria in 1938, however, Secretary of Interior Harold Ickes refused to ink the final contract.
